The final countdown: Today marks three months to the final REACH registration deadline of 31st May 2018. This deadline applies to chemicals manufactured or imported between 1 and 100 tonnes per year and is expected to have the biggest impact on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) So, for those companies who pre-registered chemicals with the intention of registering them in 2018, time is now running out. To avoid potential disruption to your supply chain, it is TIME FOR ACTION. Pre-registerd chemicals, which are not registered by the deadline cannot then be manufactured or imported at > 1 tonne per year until a registration is in place.
Last minute advice webinar: ECHA is organising a last minute advice webinar for REACH 2018 registrants on 8 March 11:00 – 12:00 EET, GMT +2. The webinar will cover topics such as business rules, TCC, invoicing, confidentiality claims and the DCG solutions. Participants will also have the chance to ask questions during the webinar. Registration Statistics:The statistics about the registrations concerning substances manufactured or imported from 1 to 100 tonnes per year have been updated. 15 817 registrations have been submitted for 6 764 substances.
