The North East Lean Network is bringing businesses together to share and learn on lean, operational excellence, innovation and sustainability. The network is staging their first best practice site visit to McAree Engineering on Thursday, April 12th.

Heather Humphreys TD, Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation, will be in attendance as a special guest for the best practice visit.

McAree Engineering Ltd. is a 3rd generation family business established in 1946. They are a full service, outsource sheet metal fabrication business servicing a range of global brand OEM’s and also design and manufacture the V-Mac Silo brand of bulk storage solutions.

McAree Engineering Ltd. operate out of two factories in North Monaghan employing 120 team members.

They are a long standing Enterprise Ireland client and were one of the early adopters of Lean in Ireland. They have completed the Lean Start, Plus and Transformation programmes. During the site visit, McAree Engineering will cover some of their key projects and the lessons learnt.

McAree Engineering continue to use the latest technologies and systems to deliver value for their customers.
