The Irish launch event for the final Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018 – 2020 will take place in University College Dublin on the 18th October 2017.

With a budget in the region of €30 billion, it is the largest funding opportunity in the programme to date.

There will be a keynote address from a European Commission speaker, a panel discussion on optimizing Ireland’s participation, a networking lunch and a set of parallel sessions.

These sessions will be run by the National Contact Points, introducing the new work programmes with an emphasis on the novelty factors.

The Societal Challenge 5 Annual Information Day will take place that afternoon from 1pm to 4pm with the following draft Agenda:
• General Overview of SC5 WP2018-2020
• Case Studies – Successful coordinators
• Side Initiatives
• Support provided
