In order to become listed on this directory, service providers must demonstrate expertise and experience in each area they are listed for. The agencies convene two meetings a year with the directory members to discuss the Lean and Green programmes and to identify areas for development within the Service Provider cohort. The performance of service providers is tracked and monitored, providing a degree of quality assurance. The creation of the Lean SWIFT guide, NSAI SWiFT 11:2013, Driving Competitiveness using Lean, means that the service providers working as part of the national lean effort are basing their work on a national guide, ensuring you are “not being sold an old piece of rope”.

The wide geographic spread of service providers lets you choose a service provider close to your business. The broad spread of experience and expertise on offer allows you to identify a service provider with the background, scale and expertise to best suit your current needs.

Charlie Mernagh has spent over 32 years in the financial services sector and has worked in all lines of management such as front line, middle and senior management and was Director of Sales Training & Management Development up to 2011. He was Director of the School of business at the College of Progressive Education from 2011 to 2014. Charlie Mernagh is an approved Consumer Law Ready trainer providing specialised training to small to medium sized organisations across Ireland. He is also a qualified GDPR trainer.

Miriam Durack was in HR & Recruitment for over 20 years working in organisations such as the NHS in the UK and Sigmar Recruitment in Ireland up to the time she became a director of 2upskill.

Work in association with organisations such as IITD Delivering QQI Level 6 new Train the Trainer, and other organisations such as Island Computer & Training delivering excel, and various payroll aswell as accounts courses.

The services provided by 2upskill vary from career coaching to management skills training. All our services are delivered with the consumer in mind and are provided in a professional and timely manner.

Have worked with IBEC & Trigraph between 2016 and 2018 delivering performance management training to all government departments across Ireland. Have worked with various skillnets across Ireland delivering management training to employees in several sectors such as pharma, financial services, hospitality, retail and other sectors.

This drive results from the fact that I am far from the typical accountant. Clients often ask, What type of accountant are you? I see accounting information as being just one part of the data that helps the manger to understand what is going on in the business and why that is happening. I then apply Lean approaches to design and implement improvements.

Part of the reason for my approach is that my business journey began with a degree in Civil Engineering. I followed this by training as a Chartered Accountant with PWC in Dublin, after which time I worked in the manufacturing industry for over 13 years.

My business experience includes:
