During a 4 years period as a plant manager, Jim transformed a 100+ employee plant in decay to a highly profitable model department, without any investment. Jim fully discovered the impact of attitude, leading by example and the human factor. This journey is summarized in his ‘4D Lean® model.
Toyota asked Jim to teach them 4D Lean® incl. the Harada method, world’s best method to make people self-reliant.
As a part of his mission, Jim later founded the Happiness@Work Conference and Movement.
