Speaking ahead of participating in the Boston trade mission, Denis Sheridan, Director at DS Environmental Services, said: “We decided to participate in the North West delegation to Boston as we have never traded outside of Europe before and we are eager to make contacts and hopefully discover new technologies in the American marketplace.
“Over the years we have carried out a lot of research and development projects in the environmental sector. Indeed, we are quite happy to share our knowledge with other like-minded companies in the US.
“The long-term plans for our business in the next five years is to become the end user of all the wastes that we handle and become a player in the renewable energy sector.
“A successful trade mission to Boston for our company would be to establish contacts with like-minded businesses in the US who are willing to also share their knowledge with us – and hopefully grow together as a result of strong collaborative working relationships.”
