Making our homes and work places more energy efficient delivers multiple benefits.  These range from making them nicer environments in which to live and work to lower energy bills.  Better energy efficiency can be achieved by improving building fabric e.g. better insulation, or by upgrading heating or lighting – and there are a range of supports available.  For businesses, improved energy efficiency also contributes to improved competitiveness and resilience as well as increasingly important green credentials.  DCCAE is now looking to engage with businesses of all sizes to

  • outline some of the multiple benefits energy efficiency delivers for businesses and the supports currently available to businesses to improve energy efficiency, and
  • provide an opportunity for businesses to have their voices heard on how they could be better supported to improve their energy efficiency.

This stakeholder consultation is taking the form of an online survey (  DCCAE would like to get the input from as many businesses as possible and the consultation will be open until  October 25th (5pm).
